Challenge
Northrop Grumman needed to update the telephony solution that it offers to its customer, the State of Virginia.
They required a next generation telephony solution for 35,000 users over 92 locations, that was easy to deploy, manage and upgrade.
Solution
Northrop Grumman selected a UCaaS/HCS hybrid solution through service provider Verizon, with the software layer being provided by Cisco and VOSS.
The 6-month project began in January 2011, to upgrade the 35,000 users onto VOSS’s centrally managed collaboration fulfillment management platform.
