April 14th - Vision Appoints Mike Frayne as CEO

Reading, April 14, 2006: Vision, a leading provider of OSS provisioning and managing software for IP telecommunications, today announced the appointment of Mike Frayne as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Vision, Mike was co-founder and Executive Chairman of Intec Telecom Systems PLC. Prior to founding the Intec Group he worked as a consultant for a number of years, following IT management roles in the investment banking industry.

He holds an MBA from Wits Business School, Johannesburg, and a BSc in Information Technology and Psychology. Mike was named an Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2001. Mike’s business interests are truly global, ranging from companies in Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and United States.

May 19th - Vision Secures £1 million in Seed Capital

Reading, – May 19th 2006

Vision, the leading OSS vendor for Service Provider Hosted IP Voice management solutions has secured £1.0 million in a private placement to Investek Pty Ltd.

The initial seed round of capital is at a significant increase in Vision’s valuation, reflecting the company’s progress since its founders created the company in 2003.

Proceeds of the investment will be used to accelerate the development of Vision’s Business Voice Service Management (BVSM) offering and continue the rapid expansion of sales, deployment services, engineering and customer support in the US market.

Vision’s BVSM solution is designed to reduce complexity, speed implementation and cut costs for IPT architectures. is a key element in the successful deployment and operation of hosted and managed IP telephony networks, supporting an ever-widening market of large, complex enterprises and service providers.

 

Working closely with Cisco Systems, Vision has already secured its first US customer and has a strong pipeline of both large enterprises and service providers who see the benefits that BVSM provides to the Cisco Hosted/Managed Unified CallManager Services (H/M-UCS) architecture.

August 17th - Xelor and Vision Announce Strategic Partnership

SALEM, NH, and READING, BERKSHIRE, , August 17th 2006 – Xelor Software™ and Vision today announced they have formed a strategic partnership focused on delivering Quality of Service (QoS), configuration and service management solutions to the Voice over IP (VoIP) marketplace.

November 7th - IP Unity Expanded Partnership

SAN JOSE AND READING  November 7, 2006 -- IP Unity, the leader in carrier-grade media servers, application servers and real-time multimedia applications, and Vision, a leader in VoIP management solutions for hosted Unified Communications platforms, have expanded their strategic partnership for delivery of carrier and enterprise enhanced services and service management.
