January 15th - Netwise Formalises Partnership
Reading, UK, 15 January 2007 – VisionOSS and Netwise today announced a formal partnership which will enable Service Providers and Large Enterprises to deploy complex IP networks in a timeframe typically cut from a year or more to within months resulting in massive operational efficiencies.
The joint solution will bring together VisionOSS’s Business Voice Services Manager (BVSM) designed to solve the cost and time challenges involved in delivering and managing complex IP voice/unified communications and Netwise’s attendant console services to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Having worked together successfully since more then 2 years Netwise and VisionOSS have deployed a number of joint client projects across the globe, with the respective products working in concert. Based on these successes the companies have now formally concluded a partnership agreement in order to further facilitate and fulfill the increasing market demands for integrated large scale VoIP deployments.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement, the two companies will continue to develop and maintain seamless integration between their respective products, targeting VoIP solutions for the large enterprise and the multi-tenant service provider IP Communications markets. VisionOSS will market and distribute the Netwise attendant console products as an integrated solution esp. for such markets.

28th June - WANA the Kingdom of Morocco’s new Global Operator, awards a contract to VisionOSS for a Cisco Hosted UCS platform.
28 June 2007 – Casablanca, Morocco VisionOSS Ltd has today contracted to supply its Unified Services Manager solution to Orange Business Services for a hosted IP voice network to be provided by WANA (new name for Maroc Connect) to provide Casanearshore Business Park with state of the art unified communications for its clients
Casanearshore is a high profile government backed business venture for a greenfield Business Park/Technology Campus in Casablanca, Morocco. It is being built to support approx 250 SME businesses ranging from 100-1,000’s employees.
The initial project phase is to provide IPT managed services for 5,000 end users in a multi-tenant environment. Expansion of these services will meet the full capacity of the business park to 30,000 end users.
September 7th - VisionOSS Appoints Kobus Smit as Head of Engineering
Reading, September 7, 2007: VisionOSS, a leading provider of OSS provisioning and managing software for IP telecommunications, today announced the appointment of Korbus Smit as its Head of Engineering.
Prior to joining VisionOSS, Korbus served as Development Director at Intec Telecom Systems PLC, where he grew and managed the Intec engineering team to over 300 staff. During his time at Intec, Kobus was responsible for establishing an offshore professional services capacity for Intec in Bangalore, India.
Prior to Intec, Kobus worked for Sanlan Limited a leading South African financial services group as a Development Manager and various programming roles.

15th October - ACBB-BITS, the banker's bank service provider, awards a contract to VisionOSS for a VisionOSS USM platform.
15 October 2007 – Newark, NJ VisionOSS Ltd has today contracted to supply its VOSS Unified Services Manager solution to ACBB-BITS LLC, the Banking Infrastructure and Technology Services arm of Atlantic Central Banker’s Bank. ACBB-BITS will deploy IPT services from a centrally managed Cisco UCS platform using the VOSS platform.
ACBB is based in Camp Hill, PA, and has assisted community banks in competing more effectively since being founded by over 40 community banks in 1983. Today, ACBB has over 300 community bank shareholders in PA, NJ, NY, MD, and DE and provides services to another 200 community banks. BITS will use VisionOSS to continue its mission of bringing 21st century IP telephony and converged network services to ACBB’s community banks.
ACBB-BITS is already offering IP Telephony services to its 500 community banks. The managed UCS platform will allow ACBB-BITS to improve deployment and management processes in the short term and as a framework, through which, ACBB-BITS will start to offer more advanced communication services.
VisionOSS will be partnering with ACBB-BITS to provide the Systems Integrator role on this project.
